Logical Images is committed to aiding clinicians in the early, rapid diagnosis and treatment of potential bioterror agents. The Centers for Disease Control classifies an agent as Category A if it:
- Can be easily disseminated or transmitted from person to person
- Can result in high mortality rates and have the potential for major public health impact
- Might cause public panic and social disruption
- Requires special action for public health preparedness
